University of Western Ontario are studying if cardio can help smokers quit. Early research shows it helps with cravings, withdrawal symptoms and the problem so many quitters have, weight gain. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition’s March issue states eating lean fish reduces the chance of women having a stroke. Researchers found eating at least 3 servings a week was inversely associated with the risk of stroke, compared with eating less than one serving. Good choices are sardines & herring.
